To allow the prints to be seen at a higher resolution and for the purpose of more accurate colors, the images (many of which are in the "Galleries" section of the site) have been sorted into .PDF catalogs.
About the Prints
All prints are Type C Lambda, printed from digital files. All are not mounted unless requested otherwise. Three lasers - one each for red, green and blue are merged into a single beam that simultaneously exposes the photographic material, producing the image in a single pass. The photo material is then processed in the same manner as traditional photography by developing the photographic material in a "wet" film processor. By using the lasers, the total image is crisp and precise edge to edge, with no distortion. The paper used is Kodak Supra Endura Matt (life expectance of 100 years before noticeble fading).
What are Limited Edition Prints?
These prints have been assigned specific sizes and are limited in numbers. They will never be reprinted in any size once the editions finish. Those prints which have sold out will be listed at the beginning of the "Order a print and Payment" section. The editions are 12 (30X20) and 13 (15X10) in the Rabari series and 15 (30X20) and 20 (15X10) for other images. The images from the B&W Magazine are in editions of 25 and 30.
For example if a print "Desert Dweller" RA#01 is sold out in the 30"X20" size, that size will never be printed again. Once the 15"X10" is sold out that will be the last of any prints of this particular photograph.
The prints are signed (in a corner at the front), numbered and dated (on the back). I sign the images to give them a personal mark. The signature means that I have taken the image and have carried out any creative actions regarding it. The numbers show the order in which the image has been printed. The date will show the say the print was made as well as the day when the image was taken.
